A working city needs working floors
Manufacturing plants, distribution centers, regional medical facilities, auto dealers and food businesses all sit within a short drive of downtown here. Each one puts different stress on concrete. A distribution floor sees thousands of forklift passes a week. A food plant floor gets hot water washdowns and cleaning chemicals every shift. A clinic needs a seamless, easy-to-sanitize surface. A tire shop needs something that shrugs off hot rubber and dropped lug wrenches. We design each floor around those conditions instead of applying one product to every building.
Systems we install
- High-build epoxy: Thick, hard coatings for warehouses, manufacturing and storage areas.
- Urethane cement: For food and beverage plants, commercial kitchens and areas with hot washdowns or thermal shock.
- Chemical-resistant novolac: For battery rooms, labs and containment areas.
- Flake and quartz broadcast: Slip-resistant decorative floors for break rooms, restrooms, locker rooms and lobbies.
- Polished concrete: For retail, offices and spaces that need low upkeep.
- Line striping and safety marking: Forklift lanes, pedestrian walkways, hazard zones and parking layouts.
Scheduling around operations
Most businesses cannot close for a week. We plan commercial projects with your operations team: weekend shutdowns, night shifts, phased sections or holiday breaks. Fast-cure products let us return areas to service in hours when needed. We coordinate with your safety staff on lockouts, ventilation and signage, and we keep work areas taped off and clean so the rest of your facility can keep running.
Surface prep at commercial scale
Commercial slabs often have years of history: old coatings, adhesive from removed tile, oil soaked into the concrete near machinery, damaged joints and patched trenches. We use ride-on and walk-behind grinders, shot blasters and scarifiers with industrial dust collection to remove old material and open the surface. Control joints are cleaned and filled with semi-rigid filler so forklift wheels do not chip the edges. Spalls and holes are repaired with fast-setting materials so the coating has a sound base.
Safety and compliance
Floors play a big part in workplace safety. We add slip-resistant aggregate where water, grease or product spills are likely, use high-visibility colors for marking, and choose products that meet the needs of food safety and sanitation programs. Our crews follow your site rules, wear proper protective equipment and keep material data sheets on hand for every product we use.
Getting a commercial quote
We start with a walkthrough. We look at the floor, ask about traffic, chemicals, temperatures and cleaning routines, test for moisture and note any repairs. From there we provide a written proposal with the recommended system, a schedule and a clear price. For multi-phase projects we break the price out by area so you can plan budgets.
Have a smaller space, like a restaurant kitchen or an auto bay? We take those on too. Many local business owners start with one room and add more over time. Ask about polished concrete for showrooms and offices, or repair work if an existing floor is failing.
Auto shops, dealers and service bays
Service departments and independent repair shops deal with motor oil, brake fluid, coolant, hot tires and dropped tools all day long. We build those floors with a thick epoxy base and a chemical-resistant urethane or polyaspartic topcoat, often with a light broadcast for grip. Bright gray or white floors make it easier for techs to spot dropped parts and leaks, and they look sharp to customers walking past the bay window.
Clinics, schools and public buildings
Healthcare offices, school hallways, gyms and municipal buildings need seamless floors that are simple to disinfect. We offer coved base options where the coating runs up the wall a few inches, leaving no seam for water or bacteria to collect. Colors can follow wayfinding plans, and we schedule this work during breaks and closures so people are not disrupted.
